Description

Spirodiclofen is a chemical substance with the molecular formula C21H24Cl2O4. Appearance white powder, no special smell, with contact action, no systemic. It has a good killing effect on the eggs, larvae and nymphs of harmful mites, and has no effect on adult mites, but it has the effect of inhibiting the hatching rate of female mites.

Spirodiclofen of physical and chemical properties: white powder appearance, no special smell, melting point: 94.8°C, vapor pressure 3×10-7Pa at 20°C, density 1.29g/cm3 at 20°C. Solubility (substance/1000ml solvent, 20°C): 20 in n-hexane, >250 in dichloromethane, 47 in isopropanol, >250 in xylene, 0.05 in water.

It has good control effect on red spider mite, yellow spider, rust tick, tea yellow mite, cinnabar spider mite and two-spotted spider mite. Crop mite control.

Toxicity: rat acute oral LD50>2500mg/kg, acute dermal LD50>4000mg/kg; sunfish LC50>0.0455mg/L, rainbow trout LC50>0.0351mg/L, daphnia LC50>100mg/L. For bees LD50>100μg/bee, for North American quail LD50>2000mg/kg.

Mode of action: Spirodiclofen has a brand-new mechanism of action, with contact killing effect and no systemic effect. It mainly inhibits the fat synthesis of mites. It can also block the energy metabolism of mites. Therefore, it has a good killing effect on the eggs, larvae and nymphs of harmful mites. However, it has no effect on adult mites, except for the effect of inhibiting the hatching rate of mites.

Brand-new structure and unique mechanism of action: the active ingredient of spirodiclofen is tetrakis-diclofen, and the mechanism of action is to inhibit the fat synthesis in harmful mites. It has no cross-resistance with existing acaricides and is suitable for controlling harmful mites that are resistant to existing acaricides.
