    Overview

    Propargite is an organic compound (C19H26O4S) used as a low-toxic acaricide. It is effective against adult and nymphal mites but has a poor egg-killing effect. Notably, it causes severe irritation to the eyes and skin of rabbits and is highly toxic to fish but low in toxicity to bees.

    Mechanism of Action

    Propargite works through contact and stomach poisoning but does not have systemic or osmotic conduction effects.

    Propargite can be used to control harmful mites on cotton, vegetables, apples, citrus, tea, flowers and other crops.

    Usage Instructions

    1. Cotton Pests
      • Target: Spider mites
      • Dosage: 40-80ml of 73% EC per acre
      • Application: Spray 75-100kg of water
    2. Fruit Tree Pests
      • Target: Citrus spider mites, citrus rust ticks, apple spider mites, hawthorn spider mites
    3. Tea Pests
      • Target: Tea gall mites, tea orange gall mites
      • Dosage: 1500-2000 times dilution of 73% EC
    4. Vegetable Spider Mites
      • Target: Eggplant and cowpea spider mites
      • Dosage: 30-50ml of 73% EC per acre
      • Application: Spray 75-100kg of water
