What is hexythiazox

This pesticide is a thiazolidinone acaricide, and its active ingredient is hexythiazox. The appearance of hexythiazox 2 sc dosage is light yellow or light brown liquid, and the appearance of hexythiazox 10 wp dosage is off-white powder. It will not deteriorate if stored in cool and dry conditions for 2 years. Low toxicity to humans and livestock, slightly irritating to eyes, low toxicity to birds, and toxic to fish. It has no toxic reaction to bees under normal conditions and has little impact on natural enemies. It has the effect of killing eggs and nymphs of harmful mites, but has no killing effect on adult mites. The ambient temperature does not affect the use effect. Generally, it takes 10 days after application to show good control effect, and the duration of effect can last about 50 days.

How to use hexythiazox 2 sc dosage

(1) Stop using 30 days before vegetable harvest. It is advisable to use it only once within a year;
(2) This agent can be mixed with various pesticides such as Bordeaux mixture and lime sulfur mixture. However, the concentration of Bordeaux mixture cannot be too high.
(3) This agent should be used when the number of adult mites is small. If the mite infestation is serious, it is not advisable to use this agent alone. It is best to mix it with other agents that have the effect of killing adult mites.
