Bifenazate is a powerful acaricide used to control mite populations on various crops, including fruits and vegetables. It acts by disrupting the normal functioning of mite nerve cells, leading to paralysis and death.
The mechanism of action of bifenazate
It has a unique effect on mite mitochondrial electron transport chain complex III inhibitors. Bifenazate is effective against all life stages of mites. It has ovicidal activity and knockdown activity against adult mites (48-72h), and the effect is long-lasting. The duration of effect is about 14 days. It is safe for crops within the recommended dosage range, and has low risk to parasitic wasps, predatory mites, and lacewings.
