Linuron herbicida

Linuron is a substituted urea herbicide with systemic and contact activity. It has high efficacy but low selectivity. It is strongly adsorbed by soil clay and organic matter, so higher rates are needed in fertile clay soils than in sandy soils. Linuron is used in corn, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, orchards, mulberry plantations, nurseries, and some vegetable fields to control various annual broadleaf and grass weeds.

1. Corn Fields: Used in spring corn fields. Apply 70-330g of 50% WP per mu before or after sowing but before seedling emergence. Do not use if soil organic matter is below 1% or above 5%.
2. Wheat Fields: Primarily for winter wheat. Harmful to barley. Do not use if soil organic matter is below 1% or above 3%, or in dry soils. Apply 100-130g of 50% WP per mu before seedling emergence with water or mix into soil; or use same rate in 3-leaf stage as toxic soil.
3. Cotton Fields: Apply 200-350g or 75-120g of 50% WP per mu before seedling emergence. Lasts 50-60 days.
4. Flax Fields: Apply 200-300g of 50% WP per mu before seedling emergence. Avoid overuse to prevent reduced emergence rate; conduct trials first.
5. Sugarcane Fields: For clean cover-mulch fields, apply 250-300g of 50% WP per mu with water and cover immediately.
6. Vegetable Fields: For leeks, apply 75-100g of 50% WP per mu before seedling emergence. For perennial green onions, apply 100g per mu before regrowth. For transplanted onions, apply 100g per mu after establishment and before weed emergence.
7. Orchards: For orchards older than 4 years, apply 150-300g of 50% WP per mu in early spring before weeds emerge or after tillage. Avoid spray drift onto tree leaves.
8. Rice Fields: Used in transplanted fields for pondweed and barnyard grass control. Apply 70-100g of 50% WP per mu 20-25 days after transplanting, mixed with soil. Maintain a water layer of 3-6 cm during application.
